We had a longer drive today, so we left St. John’s a little after 9:00 am.  Had a good breakfast/lunch around 11:00 am.  I had bagel, cream cheese, and lobster.  After lunch, we had planned on stopping at a famous place for the highest/lowest tide in the world.  But we met a local woman who told us the best place to see that was a different place just 30 minutes away, but in a different direction.  We took her advice.  Since we arrived at high tide, we couldn’t appreciate the difference between low tide and high tide.  This side trip added an extra two hours to our day’s travel, but we were still glad we made the trip.

We finally crossed into Nova Scotia.

We arrived in Lunenburg just before 6:00 pm.  This is a harbor town, bigger than Stonington, but still fairly rustic.

Our Airbnb apartment was across the street from the harbor.  It was a two-story, two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment that was newly built.

After some relaxation from the long drive, we walked about three blocks to a waterfront restaurant where the main attraction was scallops.  Good dinner.
